Expressing regret that he is too busy to come to Milan as the recipient wishes, saying that November was once the month devoted to forming the companies of various theatres and for Carnival season, that once there was a certain balance between supply and demand that is, not many artists and few theatres but now all that has changed: there are few theatres and artists by the hundreds, sending news of his family, giving the recipient directions for traveling to Verona, mentioning Leva, etc.
